After two years of not being able to celebrate Pride in our city, Brighton & Hove Pride is excited that normal service will resume in just over a week for the summer of 2022.
Pride’s main events are back on schedule including the two-day official fundraiser event for the Brighton Rainbow Fund, WE ARE FABULOSO supported by Yahoo at Preston Park on Saturday, August 6 and Sunday, August 7 featuring music stars, plus cabaret tents, dance tents and a host of new diverse and immersive experiences across the weekend fiesta.
This year’s 30th anniversary also sees the return of the LGBTQ+ Community Parade, the two-day Pride Village Party and the Pride Community Day & Dog Show!
Firmly established as the UK’s most popular international festival, Brighton & Hove Pride is as famous, vibrant, popular and unique as the city itself. Brighton & Hove Pride’s sole ethos is to promote diversity, inclusion and education within our communities. With community at the heart, this years’ Pride celebration theme is LOVE · PROTEST · UNITY.

The Pride LGBTQ+ Community Parade is one of the undisputed highlights of the Brighton & Hove Pride weekend and is a glorious showcase of the city’s charities, community groups and small businesses as well as invaluable emergency services, the NHS and statutory partners.
It is one of the biggest and brightest events in Brighton & Hove’s calendar, with over 300,000 people thronging the city’s streets to participate in and watch the parade of community and campaign groups, and the all-singing, all-dancing carnival of colour as it wends its way from Hove Lawns to Preston Park for We Are Fabuloso.
Brighton & Hove Pride say: “Our 30th anniversary is the perfect time to reaffirm our campaign commitments. With community at its heart, LOVE · PROTEST · UNITY will bring the city together to remember, to celebrate and to campaign.”
