It stars David Morrissey, Jenna Coleman, Denise Gough, Ed Stoppard and Maggie Service.
The play – in a very timely way – centres on a private nursing home, whose peace is disturbed by the arrival of a fee-paying patient who is totally well and has no need to be there.
It’s the first in a series called “ The Remote Read “ which aims to give much-needed work to not only actors but backstage technical professionals who are hard hit by the current closure of theatres.
This is the first time a theatre piece has been created entirely remotely. It will raise funds for out of work creatives and for The Felix food charity . It will be broadcast once only via Zoom on Saturday, 2 May at 7pm.

It’s produced by CurtainCall, Apples and Oranges Arts and Platform Presents.
