Chance observations, from the ordinary to the extraordinary, form her source material and inspiration.

Louise captures these moments in time through photography, before reinventing them in her visually arresting paintings – which represent subjects as diverse as Antigua and the Austrian Alps, to ancient woodland and fairground life – in an unexpected and atmospheric way.

Light and colour are recurring themes in this collection of work, which shapes what promises to be a unmissable exhibition.

Louise has lived in Brighton for 20 years, and has been practising as an oil painter since 2012.
