JADE has already racked up over 55 million streams as a solo artist, and today the pop superstar releases her new single Fantasy, which is leavened with a stand out video filmed in LA and directed by the legendary David LaChapelle.
Fantasy is sleek and euphoric disco-tinged electro pop track written by JADE with Mike Sabath and Pablo Bowman (the team behind her debut smash hit single Angel Of My Dreams), with Mike recording every musical part of the track himself alongside production duties.
JADE says:“Fantasy is a love song that I wrote with dream team Pablo Bowman and Mike Sabath about feeling safe enough with your partner to shamelessly explore your fantasies! We wrote this the day after Angel of My Dreams was written, and from then on I always knew it would be the second single. I can’t wait for my fans to experience more of my musical world.”
JADE will perform the track for the first time on Later…with Jools Holland on BBC Two tomorrow evening.
Angel Of My Dreams has been a huge critical and commercial success. The track has accumulated over 50 million streams to date, entering the UK Official Singles Chart at No.7, the third highest new entry for a British artist this year. The accompanying video was a No.1 YouTube trending video for 10 days and has had 8.8 million views. The song remained in the Official UK Singles Chart Top 20 for two months.
Last month JADE also dropped the track Midnight Cowboy, which is a sultry, understated bass heavy bop about owning your sexuality, featuring a spoken word cameo from superstar actor Ncuti Gatwa.
