LGBTQ+ artist Patrick to release new record, ‘Don’t Blame It On Me’

LGBTQ+ songwriter and musician Patrick, who was born with a hearing defect and so hears through vibrations, is set to release the infectious pop-rock anthem Don’t Blame It On Me on Friday, July 17.

Patrick’s older release Psychedelic Love Storm was added to Spotify’s ‘Out Now’ playlist and his last release Heavenly Bodies has racked up nearly 7,000 plays on Spotify, and more than 23,000 watches on YouTube

Renowned for wearing his heart on his sleeve lyrically, Patrick explores honest, real-talk lyrics in his music, that is delivered with a powerful, emotive vocal performance. Don’t Blame It On Me is no exception –an uplifting radio-worthy pop record that is uniquely catchy, deep with emotion and overall, an incredibly addictive piece of music.

On Don’t Blame It On Me, Patrick said: ‘This track is my brutally honest version of events relating to a specific night out in Manchester where I met a guy in the beer garden of a club. Despite the fact I made it very clear that I was only looking for some fun times and was in no way interested in starting a serious relationship and him agreeing, he quickly caught feelings that weren’t reciprocated by me.

‘I just wanted to enjoy my free-living lifestyle with no ties or responsibilities. I tried to politely decline his offers for dates and hook-ups but he became quite insistent, which became very frustrating so I had to firmly let him know where I stood with the situation. He didn’t take it too well from what I remember, but I refute any blame, hence “Don’t Blame it On Me.’
