‘Lesbians Go Loud & Live’ for Lesbian Visibility Day 2020, Sunday, April 26

April 23, 2020

A bunch of proud, outspoken, arty lesbians will be coming together on Facebook to raise vital funds for LGBTQ+ anti-violence charity Galop on Lesbian Visibility Day, Sunday, April 26, from 3pm.

Hosted by Zora Dryadic and Fourth World Promotions, Lesbians Go Loud & Live will be an afternoon of queer girl musicians and poets strutting their stuff while in lockdown, including: Zora Dryadic (Tat Smiths!), Emma Clowsley, Mel SansonAl StartLK Poet, Travis Eddie and Jade Stanger.

Al Start, the quirky and quiffy Brighton-based singer-songwriter, usually performs for kids through Go Kid Music. She says: “I can’t wait! I have a grown-up gig this Sunday right here on Facebook Live! It’s not often I get to sing my adult songs, and this will be a pleasure to lift our lockdown spirits! The line-up is fantastic – we are celebrating the L in LGBTQ+ and I’ll be playing songs from my past albums as well as a few new exclusive songs! Hope you can join us.”

Galop is the the LGBTQ+ anti-violence charity who run the National LGBT+ Domestic Abuse Helpline. The charity was chosen out of concern at the escalation of domestic abuse in the coronavirus lockdown. More info on their website.
