Pop performer and singer Jeyjon, band member of chart-topping Dead or Alive, has released the official music video for Stronger, his dancetastic new single. Produced in collaboration with Zinqmind during lockdown, this is the first of his new tracks written in honour of the band’s legendary members, lead singer Pete Burns and Steve Coy.
Having met Pete in the Fred’s club, along with Steve and Pete’s wife, Lynne, Jeyjon joined the band and toured the world.
Jeyjon says: “I wrote a couple of tracks for Pete back in 2015 and when he first heard them, he smiled and said, “Sis, they are perfect!” but he sadly passed away before he was able to record them, so I thought well that’s the end of that.”
Zinqmind, having produced his own music for many years and creating remixes, sought out an artist to work with. “I met Jeyjon through a mutual friend,” he recalls, “Jeyjon said he wanted to get back into music after five years out. A demo arrived and I asked him if I could give it a Dead or Alive-esque Hi-NRG vibe.”
