LADSCLUB – a new pop act based in Brighton – have announced a new single to coincide with Brighton & Hove Pride on Friday, August 4.
LADSCLUB is made up of Greg & Ed. Born and bred in Brighton, they have both loved pop music all of their lives. Despite meeting over 17 years ago, they only started making sweet music together in January of this year.
Wearing their influences on their sleeves – their music glides effortlessly between all of your favourite genres: disco, pop, funk, rap and even classical!
With three singles under their belt already – the strings-laden bop DISCOPRANCING, the all-out-rave-banger LOVEBOMBED and the sublime latest single FINEWINE – the LADS are all geared up to release their first ever remix EP, featuring incredible new remixes by acclaimed DJ/ Remixer DirtyHands.
Greg said: “We wanted to do something special to celebrate Brighton & Hove Pride as it’s our favourite time of the year. It’s so great seeing the community come together and support one another!”
Ed said: “People come from all over the country to Brighton & Hove Pride – and I honestly think it’s the best Pride festival in the world, so we wanted to release something that will make people get on their feet and want to party!”
The remix EP contains the original version of the track as well as an old-school, 12” extended version and even a dub remix!
Greg added: “We can’t wait to get these remixes out there and give FINEWINE a whole new lease of life; it’s such a unique track and our fans love it!”
LADSCLUB were recently featured in Scene‘s Daley-POP! column – with a glowing review for FINEWINE and a feature on the monthly playlist alongside Kylie Minogue and Dolly Parton no less! The LADS are going to spend the rest of the year writing and recording songs for their first album.
