Corinne Iten, incoming choir chair, said: “We are thrilled to be able to celebrate the contribution of female composers at our 30th Anniversary Summer Concert on 20 May.”
“It is a great honour and privilege to bring the work of these talented women to a wider audience whilst showcasing the diverse singing talents and repertoire of the UK’s foremost LGBTQ+ chamber choir.
“Over nearly 400 years of history, these women have done much to advance the enjoyment of music across many genres, often against the odds. We hope our audience will enjoy hearing their music as much as we will performing it.”
The evening concert will take place at St Paul’s Church, Knightsbridge and ticket details will be announced in April.
Diversity Choir can also be seen in Italy at the Various Voices LGBT+ Music Festival in Bologna, June 14-18.
