ArtHouse Crouch End present a monthly LGBT film event, G.L.A.M NIGHTS (Gays, Lesbians and Movies).
ON JANUARY 29, they will be screening the award-winning romantic drama The Way He Looks.
Leonardo is a blind teenager dealing with an overprotective mother while trying to live a more independent life. To the disappointment of his best friend, Giovana, he plans to go on an exchange programme abroad. When Gabriel, a new student in town, arrives at their classroom, new feelings blossom in Leonardo, making him question his plans.
On February 26 the world renowned writer Martin Sherman will be appearing to introduce the film version of his play, BENT. This will be followed by a Q&A session.
With gay events, cultural or otherwise, woefully thin on the ground in North London, ArtHouse offer a fun, non-exclusive, social event, for LGBT residents in N8 and the surrounding areas.
Over the coming months, they plan to have the occasional special guest or event, so keep the last Thursday of every month free in your diary!!
