Knock Out Blonde: The Kellie Maloney Story, the upcoming documentary on iconic trans British boxing promoter, is set for a UK release later this year.

As the boxing manager who led Lennox Lewis to championship glory, Kellie Maloney was no stranger to the spotlight. However, her greatest fight was yet to come, when in 2014 she announced to the world that she was undertaking gender reassignment surgery.

Now, in this authorised, all-encompassing documentary, go 12 rounds with Kellie as you follow her remarkable journey from denial to truth, examining her childhood and career which went on to shape the history of boxing, and exploring how self-acceptance has changed her life for good.

The film, directed and written by Tom DeNucci, Seth Koch and Rick Lazes, includes never-before-seen interviews with Kellie, appearances by family, friends, and colleagues, and incredible archive footage that showcases the highs and lows of her personal and professional life.

Knock Out Blonde: The Kellie Maloney Story will be available to stream exclusively on the IFC Channel from 5 August. A special Q&A screening with Kellie will follow on 9 September at the Genesis cinema in Mile End, London, before releasing across all major digital platforms on 7 October.
