Out Takes, a celebration of queer cinema by Barnaby Edwards, is showing at Exeter Picturehouse till May 14.
Barnaby’s new exhibition features portraits saluting LGBTQ+ artists on both sides of the camera. It is a celebration of the vibrant and vital contributions made to the world of cinema by LGBTQ+ artists, a fellowship of which he is proud to be part of.
Subjects in the exhibition range from directors like Derek Jarman and Pedro Almodóvar to award-winning creatives such as Edith Head and Wendy Parlos, and superstar performers including Marlene Dietrich, Charles Laughton and David Bowie.
