Queer in Brighton, an oral history project are creating an archive of queer heritage in Brighton and Hove. As part of the project they are publishing an Anthology and website of Brighton’s queer history.
They need your photos and memorabilia to scan and include in the Anthology.
Take them along to the Founders Room at Brighton Dome on Sunday, July 28 from noon-4pm.
Queer in Brighton love all things queer …..badges, postcards, flyers, T-shirts, records and cassettes, book covers, flags… and, of course, photos.
All contributors will receive a copy of the Anthology when it is published and will be entered into a prize draw to receive a copy of a recent Photoworks publication.
They will be madly scanning from noon – 4 pm.
At 1.30pm and again at 3pm they will be showing their wonderful film, Are you happy? Are you free? – conversations between older and younger LGBT in Brighton & Hove.
Go along and meet the Queer in Brighton team and share your queer memories.
