Hastings has shot Drag royalty, and with this new book he’s back with his simple white box background canvas to capture the wide diversity of the American Queer world. Rainbow Revolution has over 300 photographs, took two years to complete and he’s managed to capture all sorts of famous LGBTQ+ folks in delightfully witty poses.
With plenty of vibrant, in your face political and sensually saucy pictures, all of them carefully framed by his White Box along with a number of moving essays shining the light on gender and sexual identity by some of the subjects about who they are, and what that means.
