Actually Gay Men’s Chorus to bring Jubilee celebrations to a close with fundraiser for MindOut

Actually Gay Men’s Chorus (AGMC) is to draw Jubilee celebrations in Brighton & Hove to a close with the show Nobody Does It Better at St Mary’s Church in Kemptown, Brighton on Friday, June 10 and Saturday, June 11. Proceeds from this event will support the work of LGBTQ+ mental health charity, MindOut.

A celebration of music from the 70 years of Queen Elizabeth II‘s reign, AGMC will be offering their very own birthday tribute to Her Majesty the Queen, painting Kemptown, red, white, blue and of course platinum.

With performances to celebrate some of the jewels in the crown of British song from the past 70 years, Nobody Does It Better features iconic, emotive and uplifting favourites from film, charts and musical theatre, as well as powerfully patriotic numbers marking the majesty of this once in a lifetime occasion.

Expect a procession of Knights and Dames, a fanfare of Bond, Bowie and The Brits, throw in some Eurovision royalty and a real pageant awaits.

Under the direction of Samuel Cousins, the men will be taking advantage of the impressive acoustics in St Mary’s to welcome their audience to join them in this celebration.

Proceeds from this event will support the work of MindOut, which is a mental health service which works to improve the mental health and wellbeing of all adult LGBTQ+ communities within Brighton & Hove as well as providing global online support.

Performances start at 7.30pm and tickets for £18 are available HERE, or on the door with payment by cash or card, whilst stocks last.
