Tom Daley condemns ‘Commonwealth homophobia’ ahead of Commonwealth Games

LGBTQ+ people from across the Commonwealth will protest at 1pm on Thursday 28 July at Aston Hall in Birmingham (B6 6JD), as the baton arrives for the start of the Commonwealth Games. They will protest again the same day at 5pm at the main entrance to Alexander Stadium.

‘Out to swim’ swimmers win national medals

Ten Out to Swim swimmers competed in what is known as the UK Gay Games – GLLAM (Gay & Lesbian London Aquatics Meet) at the London Olympic Swimming Pool on September 9. Teams from all over the UK took part plus teams from Paris, Lisbon, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Copenhagen and Berlin.

The video made by Calum McSwiggan was premiered at the re-launch of LGBT+Switchboard at The Waldorf Hilton Hotel in London last week, to an audience of 600 guests including many of the famous faces who had contributed clips.

London Lesbian & Gay Switchboard (LLGS) provides confidential phone, e-mail and instant messaging services to support people who want to talk about sexuality and gender identity.
