This November the panto season kicks off at the Royal Hippodrome Eastbourne with a return visit from the popular Market Theatre Company with their latest Adult Panto – Sinbad the Seaman. Hot of the heels of last year’s show Puss & Dick, this hilariously naughty show follows Sinbad the Seaman on his epic quest to defeat the One-Eyed Monster.
The Royal Hippodrome Theatre, Eastbourne is calling for volunteers and people to review their shows. The theatre is run by a community interest company, all of the front of house staff are volunteers who have a love of theatre and a love for the Royal Hippodrome Theatre as a venue.

The Royal Hippodrome Theatre (RHT), Eastbourne appeals for help to apply for funding from the Aviva Community Fund. The Community Interest Company that runs the venue has put in an application for up to £25,000 from the fund in the support community category. If successful the money will be used to prepare for a full first stage bid with the Heritage Lottery Fund.
Residents living in the BN21 to BN24 catchment areas are being invited to attend the Royal Hippodrome Theatre on Sunday, March 22 at 5.30pm to see the Summer Season Showcase FOR FREE! This one hour show will highlight what people have been missing for the past 2 years during the Summer Season at the Royal Hippodrome Theatre. It will also contain a sneak preview of this season’s forthcoming show, Hooray for Hollywood, which opens on, April 15.
