Thanks to funding from the Brighton Rainbow Fund, HIV charity Lunch Positive has launched a new support session every week, helping people cope with the pressures of winter and the cost of living crisis.
With energy costs rising, HIV charities Lunch Positive and Terrence Higgins Trust have teamed up to host an Energy Surgery for people living with or affected by HIV on Friday, September 23.
Brighton & Hove Pride has once more gifted Lunch Positive the pitch for a pop-up food stall at Preston Park over Pride, and this year it’s for two days!
The raffle on the night raised over £800 for local HIV charity Lunch Positive and Gary Pargeter who was at the event was “delighted with such generous support”.
Brighton-based HIV charity Lunch Positive has received The Queen’s Award for Voluntary Service; the highest award a local voluntary group can receive in the UK, which is equivalent to an MBE.
The event will be an opportunity to enjoy an informal supper and socialise, share peer support, and find information and advice
Community-based HIV charity Lunch Positive is looking for trustees from all sections of the community, including though not exclusively people with HIV, to join its board.
