Brighton & Hove communities came together on Friday, July 21 for the city’s first #ZeroHIVStigmaDay.
The Ledward Centre, Brighton’s community and cultural centre, will host a free community lunch, provided by grassroots HIV charity Lunch Positive, on Friday, July 21, which will be part of the city’s Zero HIV Stigma Day activities.
Friday, July 21 is Zero HIV Stigma Day, a call-out for everyone to come along to the first ever Zero Stigma Rally at Jubilee Square, outside Brighton’s Jubilee Library.
The day of action and solidarity starts at 5.15pm with music and speakers
The boys at Brighton Bear Weekend (BBW) have announced the full programme of events taking place over four-days in July, which will raise funds for the Sussex Beacon and the Brighton Rainbow Fund.
Organised by the city’s LGBTQ+ choir, the Rainbow Chorus, there was a good turn out of community members from across LGBTQ+ communities.
On Thursday, April 20, the charity is having a Spring Wander to Cuckmere Haven, taking in the riverside and beach, followed by a luscious picnic!
