The International Day Against Homophobia, Transphobia, and Biphobia (IDAHOBIT) was created in 2004 to draw attention to the violence and discrimination experienced by lesbian, gay, bisexual, trans, intersex people, and all of those with diverse sexual orientations, gender identities or expressions, and sex characteristics.
Together Always: United in Diversity: this year’s IDAHOBIT, marked on May 17, will be a powerful call for inclusion and diversity.
Kontroversial will donate 20% of profits from clothing sales throughout May and June to mental health charity Rainbow Mind
Founded in 2004, IDAHOBIT, which this year has the theme Our Bodies, Our Lives, Our Rights, aims to raise awareness of violence and discrimination against LGBTQ+ people, to drive positive change, and is now celebrated in more than 130 countries around the world.
