Brighton & Hove Sea Serpents, Sussex’s first fully inclusive rugby club, play the Bristol Bisons in Hove this Saturday, January 27. The Bisons, the South West’s only gay friendly rugby union team last came to visit the Sea Serpents at Brighton Pride, but this time they’re coming to play a rugby match!
After a few weeks off over Christmas, Brighton & Hove Sea Serpents return to League action this Saturday, January 13 against Seaford 2nds.
Brighton Bear Weekend (BBW) and Bear-Patrol join forces this weekend to bring you some festive cheer. The festive fun starts with the return of the very popular Bear-a-oke at Bar Broadway on Saturday, December 9 from 7.00 pm to 9.30pm. Hosted fresh from the rugby field, by Chris Hibbert and Jon Bee, who will be singing, hosting and spreading Christmas cheer.

Bear-Patrol raise a total of £716.61 for the Rainbow Fund over the Pride weekend. The money was raised at the Bear-Patrol pre-Pride Quiz at the Camelford Arms on August 3 (special thanks to the Co-Op Funeral Care who donated the wonderful hamper prize) which was won by the Fantastic Foreskins;
Tonight’s weekly Quiz (July 20) at the Camelford Arms is being held in conjunction with the co op RESPECT LGBT network to raise funds for MindOut, the LGBT+ mental health service. The Quiz kicks off at 9pm but to guarantee a table you will need to be there early. The Brighton Bear Weekend (BBW) Quiz at the Camelford Arms last night (June 15) raised a record-breaking £552.67 for the Rainbow Fund. Twenty-two teams battled it out in a packed Camelford Arms to find out who are the brainiest Bears in the city.
Brighton Bear Weekend (BBW) 2017 kicks off on June 15 with the BBW Pub Quiz at the Camelford Arms. BBW organisers are looking for volunteers to help them at the various events that will follow from Friday 16 – Sunday, June 18.
Prowler, the gay sex shop and online gay sex toy store will sponsor the Bear-B-Que during Brighton Bear Weekend in June. The Bear-B-Que will take place in Dorset Gardens on Saturday June 17 from 12.30pm to 5.30pm.
A charity casino night at the Camelford Arms last month staged in association with Bear-Patrol raised £401 for a local cancer charity.
