Players and supporters of Brighton & Hove Sea Serpents take turns to cycle 500 miles to raise funds to send a team from Brighton to the 2020 Bingham Cup in Ottawa, Canada.

On Sunday, July 21, 2019, Brighton and Hove Sea Serpents RFC will be fundraising to help towards the cost of playing in the 2020 Bingham Cup in Ottawa, Canada. The first of many fundraising activities planned for the Sea Serpents RFC this summer – there will be four static bikes on the terrace, loaned by Pure Gym to help members cycle on the spot for 500 miles.
Ian Chaplin the Chairman of Brighton and Hove’s LGBT+ Rugby club talks past, present and future. The end of March 2010 heralded the official end of the Sea Serpents’ third rugby season. In that time we have improved as a club, and as individuals though the journey hasn’t always been a straight line improvement.
More LGBT+ venues take part in this year’s Brighton Unity Weekend, up from the original four of Charles Street Tap, Legends, Club & Bar Revenge and The Queens Arms to raise funds for The Rainbow Fund.
Brighton Bear’s returned to B’e’ar Broadway for another Bear-a-oke Christmas Party on December 8, hosted by the talented Jon B and Candi Rell.
Bar Broadway, the popular show bar on Steine Street, held a charity event to benefit MindOut on Friday, December 7, raising £250 for the dedicated LGBTQ mental health service.
