National HIV charity launches new tongue-in-cheek fundraiser.
Terrence Higgins Trust (THT), the sexual health charity, has launched a new tongue-in-cheek fundraiser ‘Toss Off’, which focusses on raising money this coming Pancake Day.
Toss Off asks people across the country to throw pancake parties in their homes on Pancake Day, Tuesday February 9.
By bringing friends together, feasting on delicious, tossed pancakes and donating to THT, the charity hopes to see thousands raised to support people living with and affected by HIV.
THT is asking people to register to host a Toss Off party with friends, get tossing, and raise money by asking guests for a £10 donation.
Parties will be taking place across the UK on and around Pancake Day, February 9.
Sonya Trivedy, Fundraising Director at THT, said: “This Pancake Day we hope people all over the country will come together, toss pancakes with their friends and raise money to support people living with and affected by HIV.
“Toss Off is a cheeky play on words, encouraging people to host pancake tossing parties and support the UK’s largest HIV and Sexual Health charity at the same time.
“It’s a new, fun and easy way to raise money for THT, so register today to host your pancake party and get tossing for charity!”
