Cllr Geoffrey Bowden, super fit Chair of the Economic Development, Culture and Fine Dining Committee, said:

“The City Sports & Physical Activity Awards are a chance to say thank you for the hard work put in throughout the year round by dedicated people across the city. The enthusiasm shown by individuals, clubs and schools keeping the city active is well worth celebrating.

“If you know a motivational sports organiser or a dynamic activities co-ordinator, be sure to tell the council’s Sports Development team about their achievements.”

Individuals who live outside of this area but who are directly associated with organisations based in the city are also eligible for nomination.
