WHITE-collar boxing is a form of boxing in which men and women in white-collar professions train to fight at special charity events up and down the country.

Most have had no prior boxing experience and fight to raise money for charity.

Over the next eight weeks Liam will be undergoing intensive training to get him prepared to fight.

He said: “To my knowledge I’m the only gay person who has entered so there’s quite a bit of pride at stake as well as honouring the late memory of my grandmother who lost a long battle against cancer when I was a kiddy.

“I’ve raised money for charity before but never in such a challenging way. I’m looking for people to donate some money and a business to sponsor me. It will also be nice to see a few familiar faces in the crowd on the big night. 1000 people are expected in the audience making this one of the biggest white-collar boxing events ever.”

Ultra white-collar boxing organise events up and down the country and recently topped the one million pound mark for monies raised for cancer research uk.
