The Intercom Trust, a charity providing LGBT community resources, has launched a survey of LGBT people in the south west.

The trust is inviting LGBT people to take part in The Big South West Community Survey, to express their thoughts about the world in which they live, including health services, community safety, social care and much more.

It hopes the survey results will establish what LGBT people’s experiences are of their local services and find out whether prejudice and exclusion are things of the past.

Dr Michael Halls, of the Intercom Trust, said:

“We’re aiming to make this the largest and most representative surveys ever of LGBT people in the south west.

“If we can reach 1,000 responses, that would be great! And why not? It’s secure, it’s confidential, it’s all about real people’s real lives — and there are prizes!”
