Comedian Jane Postlethwaite will run two Comedy Workshops for women at the Caroline of Brunswick in July.
The first on Saturday July 15 from 12 – 4pm is a workshop for women exploring how to create and write comedy characters. Learn how to mine for comedy material and put together a unique character. You can work on something you have already created or try out some new ideas.
The second on Saturday, July 22 from 12 – 4pm is the Women’s Beginners Comedy Writing Workshop. Do you ever wonder what it takes to be a comedian? Wondering how to come up with comedy material? Want to increase your confidence?
If yes, the beginners comedy writing workshop is for you. Jane will help you tap into your creativity, get inspiration and learn what makes a good joke.
In both workshops Jane aims to help you become a confident writer and start thinking creatively while having lots of fun in the process!
