Azaro Restaurant in Hove has been Highly Commended in this year’s Tiffin Cup, following its entry into the Parliamentary food competition.
Azaro, located on Church Road in Hove, was recently nominated by Mike Weatherley, MP for Hove & Portsalde to compete in the competition in the House of Commons with the country’s top curry-creators for the coveted Tiffin Cup.
Mike has pushed for a Hove winner each year since being elected to office and 2014 marks Mike’s fifth nomination of a Hove restaurant.
Azaro will receive a certificate and embroidered Tiffin Cup 2014 Chef Jacket to mark their achievement in this year’s competition.
A delighted Mike said: “While it is disappointing that Azaro missed out on the Tiffin Cup, their Highly Commended award nevertheless highlights the excellent quality of this restaurant. Well done to the all the staff at Azaro and I look forward to eating there again soon.”
