Mike Weatherley, the Conservative MP for Hove and Portslade, has selected, Hove Tandoori as Hove’s entry for the 2013 Tiffin Cup competition to find the top curry restaurant in the country.

Hove Tandoori, located on Church Road in Hove, will now have the opportunity to compete in the national stage of the competition in the House of Commons with the country’s top curry-creators for the coveted Tiffin Cup itself.

Last year, Touch of India on Boundary Road made it through to this stage and was highly commended by competition judges.

Mike said:

“I am really grateful to everyone who got in touch this year with nominations for the Tiffin Cup. I received dozens of emails from residents keen to nominate their favourite local curry house. However, one restaurant led the way and I am delighted to put forward Hove Tandoori as Hove and Portslade’s Tiffin Cup 2013 entry. I wish Hove Tandoori the best of luck and hope I will see them in Parliament for the competition final.”
