Brighton Bear Weekend, Bear-Patrol and Leathermen South will ‘Unite’ the Bear and Leather Communities together with ‘Pride’ on this years Brighton Pride Community Parade.
The three organisations will come together to share a Community Float which has been donated by Lancing Driver Training to take the united groups on a journey through the city where ‘The Village People meet The Wild Wild West’.
So whether you are In the Navy or down at The Saloon this promises to be a ‘Yee-Ha’ of a day!
Brighton Bear Weekend, said: “Pride is about coming together to celebrate our diversity and equality. So Brighton Bear Weekend has the great pleasure to be able to do this with other groups that share the same goals as well as members. It’s going to be a huge party on our float with Brighton Bear Weekend’s own DJ Bozzy Bear keeping the crowd jumping. We are all so looking forward to seeing everybody there.”
Leathermen South added: “Although we’re only in our 2nd year, with more than 350 members and huge support and encouragement from local groups such as Bear Patrol and Brighton Bear Weekend, we feel truly ‘united’ with our friends within this wonderfully diverse LGBT community and it’s a great honour and privilege to be invited this year to participate in what promises to be an outstanding Brighton Pride. Happy Brighton Pride 2016.”
Bear-Patrol concluded: “This is a wonderful opportunity for us all to unite as one and celebrate Pride showing that those who play together – stay together.”
