The Mayor of Brighton and Hove, Cllr Lynda Hyde was guest of honour at the launch party for the Alternative Adult Pantomime Alice in Pantoland at Pinocchio’s restaurant.

Alice in Pantoland

Guests enjoyed a sit down meal with wine courtesy of Pinoccio’s Restaurant and listened to performances from some members of the Panto cast including, David Raven (Idle Jack), Jason Prince (Captain Cook), Topsie Redfern (The Ugly Sister and Alice), Jack Seager (Tinkerballs and The White Rabbit), Russell Keith (Prince Charming) and fresh from his starring role in Thriller The Musical, Lascel Wood (The Devil).

Brighton’s Alternative Adult Pantomime was founded by the late Brian Ralfe in 2002. Brian passed away in March this year.

Lee Tracey one of London’s most successful stand-up comedians in the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s and a panto dame for over 30 years has stepped up and taken over the reins of this production and promises it will be “totally OTT and generally unPC”.

ALICE IN PANTOLAND is a journey through pantomime

“Will Alice find his or her Beau”!!!

“Will Alice Hook “Hook” or an Ugly sister?” Who knows!!

The show promises a contemporary musical journey though Pantoland with comedy banter along the way and features three highly talented stars from London’s West End as well as Lee Tracey (as Dame and Sarah The Cook), Phil Harlequeen (Fairy Godmother), Scott Virgo (Dick Whittington) and Pooh La May (The Empress of China).

Tickets went on sale in July and the producers say, 10 of the 22 performances have already sold out. The show is written by Lee Tracey and David Rumelle.
