PREVIEW: ‘Rainbow Chorus Sings Out!’: Brighton Fringe Festival

The Rainbow Chorus, Brighton and Hove’s LGBT choir, swing open the doors of St George’s Church in Kemp Town for a free, informal showcase of their current repertoire on May 19.

A chance to hear a preview of the colourful Rainbow Chorus, led by Musical Director Aneesa Chaudhry, performing contemporary hits, treasured favourites, choral classics and some surprises before they go to Dublin to perform in the Various Voices LGBT choral festival and in advance of their summer concert on July 12. Everyone is welcome.

The Rainbow Chorus is the only Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender (LGBT) choir on the southcoast. Based in Brighton and Hove, the choir aims to provide an enjoyable and supportive environment for LGBT members to sing together, make new friends and develop their community spirit, individual talents and confidence. Through performance, the Rainbow Chorus also raises the profile of the LGBT community in Brighton & Hove and further afield as well as providing top quality entertainment. Musical director is Aneesa Chaudhry and the choir is accompanied by Mojca Monte.
