BOOK REVIEW: Warwick Rowers Signature Edition

March 27, 2017

Warwick Rowers Signature Edition

Following on from the great success and universally positive feedback of the first limited edition book last year, the Warwick Rowers have returned with this hefty slab of arty nudity.

These lads are huge in all sorts of ways and this massive hefty well stuffed and high quality book reflects the hard work and dedication that these handsome lads put into their bodies and their campaigning for equality – and against homophobia in all sports – with equal passion. Angus Malcolm’s photography is superb, with a stylish and elegant monochrome collection which harks back to Aleksandr Rodchenko pictures of sportsmen from the 30’s.  Apart from being the producer of the award-winning Warwick Rowers calendars he is also the founder and Chair of Sport Allies. There is a superb sense of playfulness in these images, it’s all about the tease after all, but Malcolm’s cool gaze brings us up from our lurid imaginations and allows us to enjoy the healthy fit bodies of these sportsmen as sculptural group settings. It’s classy sensual and erotic stuff.  (you can check out his tumbler and twitter feed here, full of interesting behind the scenes shots and other work of his)

The book weighs in at 5.5lbs, and has 216 pages of images of the boys in a variety of hot & teasey, erotic and sexy poses. Produced to the same luxurious specification as their first book, and issued in a limited and numbered edition of only 1000 copies.

Along with the purchase of the book, there’s an exclusive print copy of the first published report from Sport Allies.  With funding from Warwick Rowers, Sport Allies has commissioned an authoritative report on the problem of homophobia and gender bias in sporting culture.  Not cheap, but then this is an investment and  talking point and the perfect gift for the self-loving appreciator of the honest, lithe fitness of these young fitties bodies.

If you have nothing else to do then you may enjoy their twitter feed, in fact you may enjoy it even if you have a lot to do…. its NSFW’ish
